Each summer, an intergenerational group of Unitarians (and adjacent friends) gathers for one unforgettable week of joy, growth, and connection. It’s a vibrant, celebration of community and Unitarian Universalist values — a place where lifelong memories are made, and where you just might meet your next group of best friends. Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, there’s always room for you at SUUSI. There’s something special that happens here.
No matter your age, whether you are single, a family, an empty nester, you belong here. This is a week of joy, growth, and connection – a pause from the ordinary life and dive into connection, curiosity, and belonging.
We sit down with strangers in the cafeteria or in a canoe, start a conversation, and leave as friends.
We rack tiles or puzzle pieces over coffee and bond over games.
We laugh in dorm hallways, during a flash frisbee game or over arts and crafts in a workshop.
We let comfort and love fill the room or woods during morning meditation and worship.
We tell our stories — across generations, perspectives, and beliefs — and strengthen our shared humanity.
