Housing
At SUUSI, we keep costs low and social opportunities high by living in the dorms at Radford, which are simple but well-supplied with the basics. All rooms are air conditioned, and bathrooms are en-suite, not on the hall (single rooms may share a bath). Wireless internet is available for free on campus, but may not be reliable in all locations.
If you are coming with children under 14, one child can sleep free on the floor of a single room, or two can sleep free in a double. A Family Co-Op option is available for shared supervision at night.
Of course, you are also welcome to make arrangements for your own housing in a hotel or a campground. If so, when registering, just note that you are staying off campus & we will not assign housing for you.
Joining a Housing Group is one way of meeting new people and being close to friends at SUUSI.
Dining
Meals at SUUSI will be provided in the dining facilities of Radford University. The first meal is dinner on Sunday night (before Banner Parade and Ingathering) and the last is breakfast on Saturday morning. SUUSI staff work closely with the food services staff at Radford to try to assure a sufficient variety for any special dietary needs, which can be noted when you register for SUUSI.
The dining hall can be crowded at peak dining hours—we encourage you to dine early or late if your schedule and body permit it. Carry-out options are available.
For information about allergies and sensitivities, please go to Support at SUUSI.

Books & Bazaar
THE SUUSI Books & Bazaar is a special place to find amazing books for all ages, copies of the incredible music you will be hearing throughout the week, and a wonderful array of fun items and SUUSI memorabilia such as T-shirts, lanyards, reusable water bottles & coffee mugs, bumper stickers, temporary hair color, etc.
Many creative people and top-notch artisans come to SUUSI and bring handmade goods in many media—including (but certainly not limited to) jewelry, floral designs, fabric and fiber art, stained glass, mosaics, wood, paper, metal, and ceramic creations. Support them, attend book signings and mini-concerts, and buy raffle tickets to raise money for SUUSIships.
If you have a book, art or craft, music, or other item you’d like to sell at SUUSI, contact store@suusi.org or art@suusi.org.
Common Ground Cafe
Common Ground is SUUSI’s self-service coffee house, open continuously from Sunday at 10 PM to Saturday at 1 AM. Enjoy our excellent selection of certified fair-trade and organic coffees, plus hot chocolate, teas, specialty drinks, baked goods, and on-the-go snack foods. Payment is by the honor system: record your purchases all week in the Common Ground book and settle your tab by Friday evening.
Drop by for a quick beverage, or stay for conversation, comradery, and jigsaw puzzles.
Common Ground is also the site of UnBBQuusi, a nightly “workshop” (please register to participate) that is a key social time an meal for SUUSI late-nighters.

SUUSI Office & Help Line
Helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly volunteers provide answers in person at the office (limited hours) and by text or phone from 7 am to 11 pm every day at SUUSI. If you need help, they can hook you up with what you need.
Stop by the office to pick up a printed copy of the Daily NUUS, drop off notes or items for SUUSI staff, add or drop Workshops and Nature Trips if you are not proficient online, check the Lost & Found, or if you have other questions.
Pair-a-Dice
Pair-A-Dice is SUUSI’s dedicated table-top gaming space for all ages! Sit down at a table and play a game with old friends or meet some new ones. Check out a favorite game or game you’d like to learn from our huge lending library. Staff and volunteers can recommend (and sometimes teach) games for all ages, group sizes, and gaming familiarity levels. If we have space at a table you are welcome and encouraged to play right in the Pair-a-Dice lounge, but if our room gets full, you can take your checked out game to another lounge or room and bring it back later. To participate in Pair-a-Dice throughout the week, sign up for the Workshop. Look for scheduled gameplay through the week, including D&D sessions set without our own special SUUSI setting.
